Events and Chairing

Jude has undertaken a series of talks and chaired events over the years.  These include hosting Richard Sennett at the 2018 Edinburgh International Book Festival to discuss his work and book ‘’Building and Dwelling’ and 2017 ‘In -Conversation event with artists Toby Paterson Jonas Staal and at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA), Glasgow.

Jude recently took part in the Common Guild’s  'A Place for the Work and the Human Being’ 2019 programme of talks.  The series took place in a range of venues, new and old, around Glasgow and explored the needs, expectations and possibilities of the space for art today.  The title is borrowed from the sub-title of a text by Swiss artist Rémy Zaugg (1943 – 2005), ‘The Art Museum of My Dreams’, written in 1986, translated into English in 2013. Speakers included artists, architects, curators and others.

Jude talked at the Langside Halls, Glasgow about her practice, cultural projects and collaborations beyond the studio.  An audio recording of the event (and all other speakers) can be found here:
